Rio Tinto cooperates with Chinese suppliers on Lambert Port renovation project

According to Rio Tinto’s official report, Shanghai Construction Engineering Group and Jiangsu Yangzi Chengkang Marine Equipment Co., Ltd. provided strong support for the renovation project of Port Lambert in Western Australia, and successfully delivered more than 7,000 tons of pipe piles and 20 bollard steel Structural modules.

Port Lambert is a port facility operated by Rio Tinto in Western Australia. It contains two terminals A and B. The port is mainly used to store and process Rio Tinto’s own mine products. The mixed ore products are shipped here and sent to global customers. The port of Lambert operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, with a current shipping capacity of 205 million tons per year.
