Iron ore transaction

On November 15, iron ore transaction in the China’s main ports  were 964,000 tons, an increase of 42% month-on-month; 237 mainstream traders’ building materials transaction were 177,300 tons, an increase of 10.8% month-on-month.

The total arrivals from 45 ports in China was 23.541 million tons, a decrease of 657,000 tons from the previous month; the total arrivals from the six northern ports was 11.767 million tons, a decrease of 709,000 tons from the previous month.
The total iron ore shipped from Australia and Brazil was 21.559 million tons, a decrease of 2.935 million tons from the previous month; Australia shipped 15.474 million tons, a decrease of 2.701 million tons from the previous month; of which, Australia shipped 12.895 million tons to China, a decrease of 2.717 million tons from the previous month; Brazil shipped 6.085 million tons, a month-on-month decrease of 234,000 tons.
