1.What is hot dipped galvalume steel coil?
Hot dipped galvalume steel is carbon steel coated on both sides with an alloy that combines 55% aluminum, 43.5% zinc and 1.5% silicon.
2.What is the difference between galvalume and galvanized?
Galvanized steel is coated on both sides by zinc, while galvalume is coated by aluminum, zinc and silicon. Hot dipped galvalume steel coil have superior durability and resistance corrosion than hot dipped galvanized steel coil.
3.Is aluzinc steel the same to galvalume steel?
Aluzinc is a cold-rolled steel which surface is coated by Aluminium (55%), Zinc (43.5%) and Silicon (1.5%), widely known as Zincalume or Galvalume.
4.Is hot dipped galvalume steel coil a good product to produce roofing sheet?

 1. Heat reflectivity:
 The heat reflectivity of Hot dipped galvalume steel coil is very high, which is twice that of galvanized steel coil. So people often use it as the material for heat insulation.
 2. Heat resistance:
 Aluminum-zinc alloy steel plate has good heat resistance and can withstand high temperatures of more than 300 degrees Celsius. It is often applied in chimney tubes, ovens, luminaires and fluorescent lampshades.
 3. Corrosion resistance:
 The corrosion resistance of of Hot dipped galvalume steel coil is due to the protective function of aluminum. When zinc is worn, aluminum forms a dense layer of aluminum oxide, which prevents corrosion-resistant substances from further corroding the interior.
 4. Economical and practical:
 The density of 55% AL-Zn is lower than that of Zn by weight, the area of the of Hot dipped galvalume steel coil is more than 3% larger than that of the galvanized steel sheet with the same weight and the same coating.
